This year we’re continuing with our program of community singing with a difference –the Sing It Yourself series.
We take a well-known musical, narrate the story and have a good singalong of the songs. There’ll be costumes and activities …and a lot of laughter. This is not for serious singers,it’s for you and your family and your neighbours and …well, anyone at all!
It’s time for a Sing It Yourself with a difference,as we sit back to enjoy the 2008 film version of the ABBA-scored Mamma Mia. In this version, the words are highlighted onscreen as the characters sing –all you have to do is sing along!
Bring nibbles and refreshments to keep you going. A gold coin donation will be appreciated …and there’s coffee, tea, cakes and biscuits afterwards.

Our winter Sing It Yourself event,The Sound of Music, went off like a rocket! Singers arrived with good cheer and in great costumes –including the lady dressed as edelweiss, who stood up at every mention of her name.
Our autumn Sing It Yourself event was My Fair Lady,on Friday night 18 March. We were frankly astonished at the wonderful costumes! Songs were sung –in some cases repeatedly –chocolate eggs and Fantales distributed, and a good time was had by all.
