7:00pm, Thursday 2 September 2010 – 100k North Arts AGM, followed by an open discussion on the role of 100k North Arts in the local Arts community. Join us at Marmalades at 7pm (members) or 7:30pm (everyone else) and tell us how you think 100k North Arts can best serve artists and arts lovers in Yea and the surrounding district.
6pm-8pm, Friday 3 September 2010 – Tony Flint’s paintings are the feature of the second solo exhibition at Gallery 34. This wonderful space is located at 34 High St Yea and is open for browsing, and Jasper coffee from Thursday to Sunday each week. Everyone is welcome to the opening of the new exhibition. 2pm, Sunday 12 September 2010 – Zelman Memorial Symphony Orchestra – once again the Yea Shire Hall will ring to the sound of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. Join us for a singular opportunity to get as close to a performing orchestra as you’re ever likely to. Tickets go on sale 3rd June. See our Zelman page for details!
6:30pm, Monday 27 September 2010 – Yea Vocal Nosh – community singing led by Adam Dennis. Everyone is welcome at the St Luke’s Hall, Pelissier St Yea, for an evening of simple songs, supper and laughter. Bring a plate to share; gold coin donation.
10am-4pm, Weekend of 9 & 10 October 2010 – Flowing Colours exhibition at the Yea Council Chambers. An exhibition of works from local artists and private collections. See the flyer for full information.
