There are too many people to thank everyone individually, however we can try! Our curatorial team – ‘Magnificent’ Gary Male, ‘Smashing’ Susan Pickworth, ‘Daring’ Darren Gilbert, and our tireless accidental member, ‘Bad’ Suzie Bates. Also our wonderful hosts, Ingrid and Lindsay Knight, and their band of after-dark food preparers for events such as our gallery opening. The 100k North Arts committee – Adele Anderson, Leanne Pleash and Adam Dennis. The many, many artists who contributed work to the gallery. The even greater number of people who encouraged, commented, told their friends and helped spread the word further afield. All of you deserve credit and our thanks.
No venture like ours can succeed without financial assistance of one kind or another. Most of our curatorial team have found themselves dipping into pockets at one time or another – on occasion to a significant and unplanned degree – as did have our executive committee. Ingrid and Lindsay Knight contribute far more than can be counted … in the coffee currency and in real folding paper! At a formal level, we have also received financial assistance from Murrindindi Shire for staging our gallery launch, and from the Sugarloaf Alliance for additional lighting in the gallery rooms.
